My favorite for fine hair is the original formula and a little bit of powder at the roots. Personally, I do not feel like it cleanses as well as the original formula. I know that Hairstory recommends the deep formula for fine hair. The rich formula I save for highly processed colored hair and extremely dry coarse hair. I use the original formula for pretty much everyone. My very favorite two formulas are the original formula and the rich formula. New Wash gets your head clean but your hair stays kind of amazing! No suds, no foaming like shampoo…which is weird at first but that foaming is what makes hair big and fluffy when it’s clean, rather than supple with its natural oils still left on the strands.
